For some strange reason, I was fascinated by the design of the grill on a Friedrich air conditioning unit (window shaker style).  I came up with a couple of designs for lights using the grill.  The pictures below show the one that I ending up building.  It has become known simply as, The Friedrich.  When The Friedrich is turned on, it’s likely that either a party or a riot will break out shorlly after.
